Deep Freeze

It's been a good day. We still have power. The temps here maybe made it to 1 degree F. It was -1 this morning when I started the car to go to church. I think the car thermometer read 1 by the time we were headed home, although there was a pretty steady wind causing wind chills of -20. Brrrrr. Right now, 32 degrees would feel like a heat wave.

Kate and I did head to the fitness center after church and I did 60 minutes on the elliptical while she ran laps, jumped rope, did cartwheels, and tried out the elliptical for herself. I did finally warm up before heading back outside all bundled up.

I have a feeling it is going to be a long winter.

I am SO glad I am not training for a spring marathon this winter! I have no where to run right now due to the plowed snow on the shoulders here. We get the cold and winds that you had about 4 to 8 hours later. It was absolutely brutal yesterday!

Have a Merry Christmas! :)

It's good to hear from you. Got your Christmas card today - thank you!

It actually feels like a heat wave with the temps up to 7 today!

Hope all is well with you! Merry Christmas!
