Nothing Much (I think I've used this title before)

So what's been going on with you? I'm asking because it is probably more interesting than what is going on here. Although, the boring is probably much better than a lot of things some of my friends and fellow bloggers are going through. So, I think boring is probably a good thing.

I've been running and/or spinning almost every day. I am a little worried as my capacity for speed has been declining. I ran 6 miles Saturday and got to watch What Not to Wear, which, not having cable, is a real treat for me. However, as excited as I was, my run just stunk. I had to stop after two miles to catch my breath. Then, at 3.5 was seriously considering bagging it and going home. I knew I would regret it and I wanted to find out how WNTW turned out so I switched treadmills and slogged to the end.

I went spinning Monday and Wednesday and has a somewhat successful run Tuesday. I guess my enthusiasm is just not there. I'm even kind of dreading marathon training this summer. I'm hoping it is just because we've been cooped up inside for several weeks. It is supposed to flirt with 50 degrees here this weekend so maybe that enthusiasm will return.

Sorry to be such a downer. I'll end it on a funny kid note.

Emily now dresses in one of three ways. Her outfits have to be either purplelicious, pinkalicious, or filled with love.

Purplelicious and Pinkalicious are both the titles of children's books we've been reading. They are both very cute and fun for little girls. The filled with love refers to a pair of jeans and a t-shirt she has with the word love on them.

I guess it's time for us to play school. I think Emily's going to be the teacher once again.

If you're bored, come on over!
Not only do we have LOTS you can do, but it would be a work out at the same time :)

Thanks for the note. I'm doing ok. Wrapped up in a lot of other stuff so, I haven't been maintaining my blog as promised. I have been largely inconsistent in my running, some due to my leg still not being right, some due to travel for work, illnesses and Lindsey's basketball games. I, ike so many other mid-westerners these days, am seriously looking forward to a break in this brutal winter we have had. I, like you, had a horrible run earlier in the week outside that I thought I was going to have to walk home from. Have you decided on a fall marathon yet? Perhaps Columbus? (Nudge, nudge)

Thanks again for sharing a story from one of your girls. They're always a treasure and take me back to more innocent times with my own little girls. :)

Have a blessed weekend.

I'm so tired of the weather, but we are going to have 2 60-70 degree days this weekend! Wow!

So, do you think you're overdoing it, and that's why you are losing speed? Maybe too much spinning...maybe you just need a rest day to do nothing?
