Well, here's the short story - I achieved my goal - ran it in 1:55:32! Yeah!! Steve finished in 2:52:38.
We just survived the long 2.5 hour drive home. I'm tired!
I'll write more tomorrow. Overall, though, it was a perfect day for running.
Good luck to Kelly at Beginning Running. She's running the Lincoln Half Marathon, her first, tomorrow .

Way to go! Congrats to both of you!
It was a beautiful day.
Glad you're home safe and sound, get some rest :)
Nikki
It was a good day. Thanks Nikki!!
BTW, I had to go into school for something and Lili was there holding the door. Loud and clear she said hi to me and waved. So cute!
Nice run! Congrats to you both.
Thanks Regina. I hope you've warmed up after you bike ride.
Woo Hoo! Awesome time! Great job! :-)
Congratulations! My wife beats me now too! Lie a drum.
Scott,
Just to set the record straight, my wife cheated. Karen actually trained for the mini-marathon.
Personally, I don't believe that was fair but she seems to think otherwise. Go figure.
