A World Wide Festival of Races Redo

Well, after Saturday's not so good run, I took it easy yesterday. No pain in the Achilles at all.

So, this morning, I got ready to run once again. I figured I would try to do four and if I felt good, I would go ahead and do six. Well, I got in the 6.2 miles, 10k. It was a really good run and I managed to average 8:46 minutes/mile. Huh??!?

So now I'm feeling much better about running Sunday. Must be a bad case of taper madness. Now it is off to bed now that I have the carbo-loading Russian Mushroom Potato Soup in the crockpot. Oh, the house will be smelling good in the morning.

Glad your heel is feeling better and you got in such a great run. That soup sounds divine!! I love my slow cooker.

Thanks! The slow cooker is saving me as of late. There is a fantastic blog with all kinds of recipes here:http://crockpot365.blogspot.com/ Honestly, only made one in the last month that didn't go over well.
