Yes, it has been 11 days since my last run. There has been no activity other than trying to speed walk if I need to go anywhere (100-200 feet at a time). Am I discouraged? Yes. But at the same time, right now, I cannot really fit a run in. I'm exhausted to begin with and we had something and have something going practically every night last week and this week. Maybe once this is over, I'll feel better about going out after work for a quick 4 miles. But for now, I'm just going to give myself permission to take another week off.
I haven't even had time to live vicariously through running blogs. I don't have time to read them! My Runner's World sat unopened for two or three days before I got to it! Augh!!!!
On the positive side, I'm not eating as much because I can't say, go ahead, you'll burn it off fast. Speaking of eating, time to go throw supper in the crock pot so it is ready for tomorrow night - Brown Sugar Chicken (It is so good!!).
