In the thick of it...

Tour de Max is only two days away and the wedding (for which I am the wedding planner) is one month from today. Thankfully, I haven't had any editing work to do which has freed me up a bit. The next two days will be a little nuts just getting everything prepared for the cyclists on Saturday. Hopefully the weather will cooperate. Right now, it's supposed to be 63 and occasional showers. As long as they stay away until after 11 am, I'll be happy.

Needless to say, I haven't done much running. I got in five miles on Saturday with the running group and five on Monday. Unfortunately, I'll be surprised if I get another run in this week with everything going on. That being said, I know I won't be sitting on the couch of doom eating cheesy poofs so at least I'll be getting some form of exercise, just not the one where when I'm finished I'm drenched in sweat from head to toe and I feel much better about life.

Hope you have a great weekend. Talk to you on the flip side.

Hi Rick! I'm still here. Kind of catching up from the weekend - it was crazy but finished. Hope you are well and getting used to your new accessory.

I LOVE my new accessory! It totally takes the pressure off of my lower leg... when I am able to wear it.

Hey, we'll (sorta) be down in your neck of the woods this weekend. We'll be camping at Pokagon State Park with several other families from our church. Has kind of become a Memorial Day Weekend tradition... though several of the families that used to camp with us have sold their trailers due to gas prices rising. I've considered it as well, but got an uprising from the youngest daughter so, we're hanging on... for now.
