Well, there has been no running for me since Tuesday. Wednesday was a rest day and by Wednesday night, what I had been hoping to avoid slowly hit. I pretty much slept all day Thursday until about 5 pm when I finally got up for few hours and then headed back to bed.
Today, I am at least functioning but still only downing saltines and 7-up. I have a feeling I won't be doing my 10-mile run tomorrow - I'm getting winded just going up the stairs and if I sit here long enough, I may go back to sleep.
As miserable as I was, I found out this morning a friend of ours came down with the same thing yesterday as he was leaving for the airport and a 9-hour flight home to Croatia.

Actually, I just cracked open the last one I had left from January. Oh, it does taste good - and right now, that's saying a a lot. :-) Hope you are feeling better.
